Exciting medical design starts with the waiting room

Dr. med. dent. Sebastian Krause not only uses high tech devices for medical treatment but also for the waiting area: His orthodontic practice, fittingly named „we love smiles“, welcomes patients with the virtual sketch aquarium ›paint2life‹.

Of course, the modern interpretation of an orthodontic practice starts with the newest methods of treatment, which use high tech to ensure a comfortable and pleasing experience.

But: The spot-on design of the Munich-based practice takes it to the next level. Before, during and after the appointment, the well-being of patients is the primary focus. Especially young (and young at heart) patients are provided with a wide range of entertainment.

The main entertainment element is the interactive sketch aquarium ›paint2life‹ by vertigo systems. The virtual aquatic world is shown on a large-scale 55“ display which fits perfectly into the arrangment.

The interactive aquarium scene, held in a child-friendly comic style, has a calming influence and promotes creativity: Young patients can colour the sea creatures and use a scanner to release them into the interactive aquarium. Striped, dotted, checked, mono- or multicoloured: There are no limits for creative painting.

This means visiting the orthodontic practice is not only comfortable but also a joyful experience!

We want to thank Dr. Krause and his team for great cooperation and wish all the best for the future!
