A special interactive media installation in the museum’s shopping windows is now announcing this special event in a playful way.
Passersby on the Barfüsserplatz are caught by surprise and literally enter into the scene displayed behind the store window. Camera- and laser-based sensors detect every movement of the people acting in front of the window. The software solution >living surface< provided by vertigo systems transforms the user’s activity instantly into information and playful animations related to the subjects of the exhibition. Large, seamless LED-daylight-screens display the content bright, crisp and colorful – drawing people’s attention from the entire city square.
The interactive content contains a preview on the precious artifacts that will be presented in the upcoming exhibition and is offering a descent down into fantastic interactive underwater worlds. Concept, design and management of this project have come from the swiss company Gimmick Studios AG.
