Painting and playing fun with ›paint2life‹ at the Schollin children's adventure bakery

At the Schollin children's bakery, the world of baking becomes a great experience. Here, the youngsters learn about the process from grain to ready-to-bake flour, decorate the dough with their favourite motifs and actively design the interactive butterfly and bee world of ›paint2life‹.

The Schollin bakery is a traditional company that has been delighting its customers around Dinslaken with delicacies since 1853. Here, attention is also paid to the next generation of bakers. The doors of the children's bakery are regularly open to groups from kindergartens and primary schools.

The young visitors experience the work steps and machines of the baking world in a child-friendly way. And they get to be active themselves when decorating the dough!

One focus of the visitor programme is the path of grain development from seed to ready-to-bake flour.

The interactive colouring station ‘paint2life’ in butterfly look with beehives brings nature virtually into the bakery, because the origin of our food lies in the animal and plant world. At the ‘paint2life’ colouring station, the young baking artists colour in various butterflies on templates and bring them to interactive life at the touch of a button. On the almost 2m wide screen with the finest 4k real-time graphics, the butterflies react to every touch and present their creators with their good mood!
